No chance.

Disestablishment of the Church of England as the State religion?

Long overdue.

70% call themsleves C of E and profess some level of faith. The views of this majority are already under-represented.

Under represented? I hardly think so! The Archbishops of Canterbury and York, and the Bishops of London, Durham and Winchester always have seats in the House of Lords. Twenty-one of the remaining Diocesan Bishops also sit in the Upper House. I see no other faith, including the other established Church (the Church of Scotland) given seats in Parliament.

And is time it stopped.
