Labour- Yueeeeech, Tories.. clean moat, Sir? Lib Dem- nice to see you look after your daughter, Mr. George.
Now, will the Journalists on the Telegraph please publish their expenses.

It is, of course, a spurious argument though.
(2) The Daily Telegraph is subject to market forces, and the House of Commons is not. If the Telegraph's expenses can't be afforded, the Daily Telegraph goes under and the journalists lose their jobs.
(3) Misuse of public funds is a very serious matter.
