Leonid Ilyich Brezhnev was born in Ukraine even if he was not ethnically Ukrainian and he was not a good guy.

Calling Bondarchuk, Korolyov and Sikorsky Ukrainian is a bit of a stretch, since they identified themselves as Russian. That's as un-Ukrainian as you can possibly get.
